FBN Capital 2nd Annual Investor Conference: Catalysts for growth- A Pragmatic Approach- Day 1

In what could be termed as one of the major economic events as the year ends, The 2012 FBN Capital Investor conference themed “Catalysts for Growth; A Pragmatic Approach” took off with experts in various fields taking turns to discuss issues on the Nigerian Economy.

Welcoming participants to the 2-day event, Managing Director, FBN Capital, Mr. Kayode Akinkugbe said the aim of the conference is to kick start discussions that will consider enabling factors and initiatives that will boost the nation’s growth.

In a separate remark, Mallam Bello Maccido, MD/CEO, FBN Holdings Plc, reiterated that First Bank is a financial institution that has taken the lead in anticipating Economic Reforms adding that these are necessary as the country continues to surge forward economically with a GDP growth of 6.5 percent at a time the world is experiencing global economic crisis.
