TEEP 2015: VP Osinbajo urges African entrepreneurs to value integrity

The Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has called on African entrepreneurs to value integrity, as a core element of the business.

Osinbajo stated this at the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) boot camp for 1,000 entrepreneurs across Africa in Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State.

TEEP 2015 Boot camp:Elumelu shares tips on entrepreneurship

A notable business icon, passionate entrepreneur, philantrophist and a firm believer in Africapitalism, Mr Tony Elumelu the founder of the TEEP initiative, designed to empower 10,000 entrepreneurs across Africa in the space of 10 years, through a fund of $100ml, hosted the first 1,000 successful batch to a boot camp experience.

For him it was an opportunity to share some vital tips on what makes successful entrepreneurs.

Understanding that Africa is in dire need of economic transformation; Mr Elumelu gave incisive points that will be valuable to the new generation of Afri-entrepreneurs.

Vice President Osinbajo speaks at #TEEP 2015 boot camp

The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme entered its Day 2, with the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo gracing the event.

He used the opportunity to commend the founder of the initiative Mr Tony .O. Elumelu (CON) for his effort of charting a pathway for future entrepreneurs in Africa.

At the TEEP 2015 boot camp in Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria one of the special guests at the ground breaking event, was the Prime Minister of Benin Republic Mr Lionel Zinsou.

Mr Zinsou an entrepreneur turned politician used the opportunity to inspire the 1,000 TEEP first batch of beneficiaries of the empowerment fund, to deploy home grown solutions to challenges in the African continent.

Nigerian leaders grace #TEEP boot camp

The Day 2 of the TEEP boot camp, an initiative set to reposition about 1,000 African entrepreneurs as solution providers was graced by notable Nigerian leaders.

Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Chancellor of Covenant University Bishop David Oyedepo, Mr Segun Awolowo,DG NEPC and Mr Rasheed Olaoluwa MD, Bank of Industry graced the event.

Both the Vice-President and Governor El-Rufai lauded the founder Mr Tony Elumelu(CON) on the initiative.

TEEP 2015 Boot Camp:Excerpts from Opening Session

The opening session of the TEEP 2015 Boot Camp experience had two criticpal sessions, first the Debriefing on the selection criteria for the final 1,000 successful entrepreneurs from 52 countries in the continent, by Mr Martins Eigbike a Senior Manager with Accenture.
