Dangote Foundation lauded for its Humanitarian efforts in Borno
Dangote Foundation the largest private philanthropic organization in Sub-Saharan Africa has been lauded for its massive humanitarian efforts in Borno State so far, which is manifest in the construction of 200 housing units to accommodate over 2,000 Internally Displaced Persons from the insurgency in the State.
Also the Foundation flagged off food distribution to mark the 2017 Ramadan season, which will cater for over 300,000 IDPs in host communities in Borno.
Governor Kashim Shettima at the event commended the gesture and described Dangote Foundation as the single largest donor to the reconstruction of Borno State, post-insurgency era.
