She highlights some of the key areas that NASD Plc will give as top priority which include; rolling out commercial papers, strengthening its N-ELTS trading platform, exploring the digital assets space to provide innovative products for market players.
Looking at 2021 she anticipated that there will be increased regulatory oversight with transparency that should boost market confidence and increase liquidity for shareholders, alongside more transactions in the market from companies in the Quotation list (companies that are Plcs and eligible to trade) and those in the Secondary list (companies that are not SEC registered).
Chinwendu also believed that the Nigeria stock exchange now demutualized will in the course of the year list on the Unlisted OTC Market, to further boost its capitalization.
