Collective Investments Schemes In Nigeria Have N1.3trn Assets Under Management - Margaret Agbonlahor
The Collective Investments Scheme in Nigeria currently hold about N1.3trn value of Assets Under Management. This was revealed by Margaret Agbonlahor the Head of HNI Sales, FSDH Asset Management who was a guest on the WebTV "Market Review" program anchored by Ottoabasi Abasiekong which discussed the "Collective Investments Schemes in Nigeria".
According to her, the Money Market Mutual Fund holds N800bn, Fixed Income Funds N200bn and Bonds N100bn. Speaking on the recently launched FSDH Dollar-Denominated Mutual Fund, she said it was designed for investors who want to improve their cash flow and capital appreciation, with a minimum investment of $1,000.
Co-Anchor Mr Boason Omofaye, CEO of Frontier Africa Reports called for more innovative products in the mutual funds space with the need to deepen investor education on the benefits of the Collective Investment Schemes.
