NSE hosts FG,Private sector parley on Green Bonds and economic development
The Nigeria stock exchange today played host to a conference on “Sovereign Green Bonds”, which served as a strategic engagement between the Federal Government and financial market players, on the prospects of investing in sustainable development.

Organized by the Federal Ministry of Finance, Environment and Debt Management Office, it was an opportunity for the government to engage the capital market stakeholders ahead of the planned “ N20bl Sovereign Green Bond” issuance by Nigeria in the first quarter of the year, the first ever in an emerging market.
