How The Private Sector Can Support Nigeria's Achievement Of The 2030 SDGs
This edition of the Economy and Politics show features Folashade Ambrose-Medebem the Director, Communaications, Public Affairs and Sustainable Development, Lafarge Africa Plc as she speaks on "Sustainable Development Goals and the Green Economy".
She believes that Public-Private Partnerships and Commitments from all stakeholders are key ways Nigeria can achieve the Sustainable Development Goals target by year 2030.
Folashade Ambrose-Medebem described 2020-2030 as a decade of action to achieve sustainable development and the 17 goals outlined by the United Nations in collaboration with partners.
According to her the global economy has shifted to the era that companies and organizations, should reposition their operations with sustainability at the core.
She said Lafarge Africa under Lafarge Holcim its parent company has given top priority to reducing CO2 emissions, in its operations and as a private sector player supported efforts towards sustainable development in Nigeria and globally.
