Nigeria Needs More Long-Term Interventions to Boost MSME Growth - Seye Olurotimi
Intervention programmes for MSMEs in Nigeria from the Federal to State Government should take a long-term approach, to enable the growth of small businesses in the country.
Mr. Seye Olurotimi the President of MSME Africa made this point as a guest on the "Economy and Politics" show anchored by Ottoabasi Abasiekong.
He believed that considering the current economic recession in the country, the support and interventions for MSMEs must be strategic and prioritize micro-enterprises.
Speaking further he called for an improved regulatory and enabling business environment, that facilitates the registration of businesses by at least 48 hours and collaboration between the public and private sector to boost enterprise development in the country.
