Nigeria Needs to Align its Tertiary Education System With its National Development Goals - Dayo Abinusawa
If Nigeria is to achieve global competitiveness as a nation, it must align its Tertiary Education curriculum with its National Development Goals and Strategy.
The Founder of Awa Business School, London, United Kingdom Dr Dayo Abinusawa made this point as a guest on the "Economy and Politics" show anchored by Ottoabasi Abasiekong which discussed "Education, Skills Development & National Competitiveness".
According to him "Nigeria has to be clear on its socio-economic strategy and Identify skills and capabilities that can support its policy direction". Speaking on the Awa Business School, he said since 2018 when it was established the institution achieved full accreditation from the UK Government in the space of two (2) years.
For Awa Business School, Dr Dayo Abinusawa pointed out that the focus was to make education accessible, affordable and available for overseas students with innovations like accelerated diploma programs, online degree programs and advanced diploma programs amongst others.
