Nigeria's GDP To Grow By 2.01% In 2021 - Mr Godwin Emefiele, CBN Governor
Nigeria's Gross Domestic Product is projected to grow at 2.01% in 2021 which signals an expected return to growth and stability from the current recession.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Mr Godwin Emefiele disclosed this as the guest speaker at the 55th Annual Bankers dinner of the Chartered Institute of Bankers In Nigeria, CIBN.
Mr Emefiele informed the stakeholders that the interventions of the CBN supporting households, MSMEs and the growth of the Non-Oil sector will be critical to leading Nigeria through the recession, which he projected Q1,2021 for the nation to exit the economic downturn.
He assured stakeholders that the monetary and fiscal authorities were committed to ensuring Nigeria's economic growth and stability.
