It is not Sustainable for Government to Continue to Raise Funds to Finance Recurrent Expenditure - Ebo Ayodeji

The approach of raising funds to finance recurrent expenditure in Nigeria is no longer sustainable for the Federal Government. Mr Ebo Ayodeji the MD of Afrinvest Securities made this point as a guest on the WebTV "Market Review" program anchored by Ottoabasi Abasiekong that discussed "Developments In the Nigerian Debt Market".


Mr Ayodeji called for the enabling environment that encourages "Enforcement of Contracts" for seamless private capital investments into addressing Nigeria's infrastructure issues. Co-Anchor Mr Boason Omofaye the CEO of Frontier Africa Reports believed it was time for the required political will in the country, to enhance Public-Private Partnerships that can boost real-time infrastructure projects that will unlock economic activities in the nation.
