Economic Sustainability Plan Should Prioritize Infrastructure, ICT & Domestic Manufacturing - Biodun Adedipe
Investments In Infrastructure (roads, rail and power), Information and Communications Technology and Domestic Manufacturing are key areas the proposed Economic and Sustainability Plan of the Federal Government, should give top priority and attention.
Economist and CEO of Biodun Adedipe and Associates Consulting Limited, gave this view as a guest for the second time on the 53rd edition of the WebTV "Economy and Politics" anchored Ottoabasi Abasiekong by show which discussed "Nigeria's Economic Sustainability: Pathway to Productivity".
He agreed that it was time for Nigeria to address once and for all the revenue structure that is solely reliant on crude oil receipts, with a focus on deepening activities in the non-oil sector and increasing allocations and opening up for partnerships in the health and education sectors. It also featured Mr Olufemi Awoyemi, FCA the Founder/Chairman of Proshare who engaged Dr Adedipe on the issues around driving a productive economy in the nation.
