Until Nigeria addresses a large extent its infrastructure and logistics challenges, the Manufacturing sector will not unleash its potentials that will adversely impact the nation's industrialization aspirations.
The Director-General of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI Dr Muda Yusuf made this point as a guest on the 52nd edition of the WebTV 'Economy and Politics' Show which looked at "Resetting Nigeria's Manufacturing Sector for Global Competitiveness".
He said the emphasis of policies from the fiscal to the monetary side should be supporting the development of a productive and competitive manufacturing sector, and decried the fact that the major fundamentals have not been addressed as expected.
