Mr. Ahmad Barau the Deputy Director, Banking Supervision in the Central Bank of Nigeria, disclosed this as a guest on the Islamic Finance Weekly program anchored by Bukola Akinyele.
He believed Islamic Finance and its products are the best options for achieving real sector development in Nigeria, if the challenges facing Non interest Banking are met.
The Deputy Director Banking Supervision in CBN also noted that the 11 schemes intervention programmes for the non interest market will boost Islamic Banking and the products offering in the country.
