This edition of Islamic Finance Weekly anchored by Bukola Akinyele features the Founder of Islamic Fintech Hub in Kenya, Mrs. Wahida Mohamed where she shared her perspective on the Role of Women in the Islamic Fintech Hub.
Mrs Wahida made a strong case for collaboration between Islamic banks, startups, and social enterprise only then million of women will be able to get their potentials to financial technology.
She believed Nigeria can do more in the area of a regulatory framework that encourages Islamic Finance and its provisions, through Fintech activities in other to increase women participation.
