CBN Should Expand Its Intervention For Quoted Companies - Sir Sunny Nwosu

Quoted Companies in the Nigerian Capital Market should be considered as beneficiaries of the #COVID19 interventions and palliatives from the Central Bank of Nigeria. Sir Sunny Nwosu the National Coordinator (Emeritus) of the Independent Shareholders Association of Nigeria, ISAN made this assertion as a guest on the WebTVNG "Market Review" anchored by Ottoabasi Abasiekong with Boason Omofaye CEO, Frontier Africa Reports as Co-Guest Anchor. 



The Program focused on the discourse "Post #COVID19: Focus On Shareholder Relations with Companies". Sir Nwosu said "What takes away revenue/gross profit from companies is interest paid on loans, CBN should roll out palliative policies for companies to remain afloat as the pandemic has created inactivities for several businesses". 



The shareholder group leader also kicked against any idea of utilizing the unclaimed dividends as a means of supporting the economy during and post pandemic.
