LAMPE OMOYELE is a widely respected business leader and mentor in the marketing and advertising industry of sub-Saharan Africa.
He is currently Managing Director at Nitro 121, one of West Africa's leading marketing communication and brand management companies, and Consultant, The Lucent Consulting Company, a business strategy and human capital development consultancy.
He has previously been Managing Director, Nielsen West Africa; Africa Marketing Director (Family Nutrition), GSK Consumer Healthcare; Marketing Director at Nutricima, a PZ Cussons company; Marketing Director, Airtel Nigeria; and Marketing Director, Cadbury East and Central Africa.
Lampe holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Biochemistry, and is an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School. He is a Fellow, National Institute of Marketing in Nigeria (NIMN); Trustee of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN); Associate member, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON); and member of the Advisory Council for Advertising Week Africa.
He is a recipient of several awards including the Marketing Society of Kenya's Warrior Award for significant contribution to the development of marketing in Kenya in 2008; Chartered Marketer (UK) status in 2009; and NIMN's Achievers award (2011).
In 2018, he was listed amongst the '50 most influential marketing communication practitioners in Nigeria' by Brand Campaign magazine, and '100 most influential global marketing leaders' by the World Marketing Congress.
Lampe serves on the board of several companies and not-for-profit organizations, and is an adjunct faculty member of the Orange Academy and Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria where he teaches marketing strategy. He is also a council member of the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), a leading global expert network that provides independent consulting services to business professionals worldwide.
