Unity Bank Plc Announces Delay in Filing Q1 2018 Reports

Wednesday, May 16, 2018 /10:30AM/NSE

This is to inform The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), our esteemed shareholders and other Stakeholders that Unity Bank Plc was unable to release its First Quarter 2018 Unaudited Financial Statements (UFS) within the deadline of April 30, 2018 as required by NSE Rules.

This is due to the fact that, as indicated in our earlier notification to the exchange dated April 5, 2018, we have been unable to file our 2017 Audited Financial Statement (AF S), which is still undergoing approval and should precede filing of the 2018 First Quarter UFS.

We are optimistic that the approval of the said 2017 AF S will be received soon and thereafter both the 2017 AF S and the First Quarter 2018 UFS shall be released to the NSE and the general public accordingly.
