At the close of trading today, FO tops the list of top five losers in the Nigerian Stock Market with -9.23% loss. Other stocks on the list include SUNUASSUR (formerly EQUITYASSUR) with -9.09% loss, JOHNHOLT ( -9.09%), TRANSEXPR (-8.97%) and SOVRENINS (-8.70%).
Sector wise, two insurance sub-sector stocks ( SUNUASSUR and SOVRENINS) made the top five list while sectors such as Oil and Gas (FO), Conglomerates (JOHNHOLT) and Services (TRANSEXPR) recorded one stock each.
In
Naira terms, FO
‘s Market CAP dropped N2.67bn to emerge as the stock with the
highest loss today. Others in the top five list are: SUNUASSUR
(formerly EQUITYASSUR) with N280m loss in Market CAP, JOHNHOLT
(N15.57mln), TRANSEXPR
(N32.82mln) and SOVRENINS
(N166.82m).
