Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc Announces Delay in Filing FY 2017 Financial Statements

Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc hereby wishes to disclose as follows: 
1. That its Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31^St December, 2017 have not been filed by the due date of 31^St March, 2017.

2.  The reason for the delay is that the Audited Financial Statements were released by our auditors only on 28^th March, 2018 and submitted to our primary regulator, the Central Bank of Nigeria the same day for approval. The approval is still being awaited.

3.  The anticipated date of filing is on or before 3oth April, 2018.

4. This notice has also been published on the Bank’s website: www.abbeymortgagebank.com

5. An application for extension of time to file the accounts has been made to the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
