ALERT: 82.38% of Total Market Volume Traded on WEMABANK Shares Today

Just like we reported yesterday of a huge volume traded on WEMABANK shares yesterday which turned out to be a cross deal as earlier updated today, another huge volume trade also occurred today.

At the closing of trading today, a total volume of 2.39bn units of shares of Wema Bank Plc valued at N1.48bn was traded.  

This represents 82.38% of the total market volumes of 2.91bn and while the value of WEMABANK shares traded represents 13.14% of the total market value traded which was put at N11.23bn. 

Furthermore, the volume traded represents 6.22%of WEMABANK’s total shares outstanding put at 38.57bn shares while the value of the shares traded represents 6.27% of WEMABANK market capitalisation as at June 18, 2019.  

A comparison of WEMABANK today’s volume traded with the previous day’s trading volume revealed that it decreased by -11.01%

The share price of  WEMABANK moved down by a tick size of -4.69% to close at N0.61k at the close of trading today from the previous price of N0.64k
