WEMABANK Notifies of Board Meeting And Closed Period for Q1 2020 Accounts

Pursuant to the post-listing requirements of The Nigerian Stock Exchange (The Exchange) for quoted companies, Wema Bank Plc (the Bank) hereby informs The Exchange and the investing public of a meeting of the Board of Directors scheduled to hold on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 10.00 a.m. to consider and approve the Group's Unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ended March 31, 2020.


Consequently, the closed period for trading of the Bank's shares will commence on Friday, April 24, 2020 to twenty-four (24) hours after the Unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 is filed with The Exchange.


This notice is however subject to the restriction of activities imposed by the Federal Government in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, attendance of the meeting may be by electronic channels.
