MEDVIEWAIR takes Delivery of B777-200ER Aircraft for Hajj and International Operations

Med-View Airline Plc (the Company) is pleased to formally inform shareholders and other stakeholders that the Company received as promised, a B777-20oER aircraft for its operations. The aircraft is a long-range wide-body twin-engine and it is the world's largest twin-jet with a seating capacity of 323 passengers.

The Board and Management of our Company recognize the need to add a modern aircraft to its fleet and having been appointed by the National Hajj Commission to airlift intending pilgrims to the Holy Land for pilgrimage. The Company will use the B777-20oER to execute the Hajj operation which is scheduled to commence on Saturday, 21 July 2018, and Med-View will inaugurate its other operations on Tuesday, 24 July 2018. The airline will be airlifting pilgrims from six (6) locations; Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Maiduguri, Ilorin and Port-Harcourt.

The aircraft will also be utilized for the existing international routes and readily available for our planned route expansion program. It should also be noted that some aircrafts in the Company’s fleet (8737-500) and (8767-30oER), which are on scheduled maintenance and cabin reconfiguration are still being expected and Management is not resting on the achievement of the B777-20oER and is expending more resources to take delivery of these aircrafts.

The Management reassures the entire public that the airline is repositioning to be the best Nigerian airline and their safety and comfort onboard our flights are being considered in actualizing this mandate. The Company will continue to take giant strides to ensure that best exemplary services are offered in the aviation industry.
