Omatek Ventures Plc
(Omatek) has introduced into the Nigerian market 24-hour solar power solutions. The company said the solutions combine the benefits of the solar system and those of the LED technology to proffer solutions that reduce energy consumption considerably while saving costs by 60-85percent whilst providing 24-hour lighting solution.

 

The share price of the company is still nose-diving since 2008 as the company is yet to find its path to recovery after the market crash.

The stock fell by -67.74% in 2009, following the -69.84% loss experienced in 2008. The company experienced low-key patronage to record flat posture in 2010 and 2011 while trading at nominal value of N0.50kobo. The YTD performance so far in the current year remains flat.

 

Chevron Corporation (MRS) has planned an investment of $33 billion on exploration and production activities, including major natural gas-related projects in Nigeria and five other countries, as part of the $36.7 billion capital and exploratory investment programme for 2013. The company said in a recent statement that notable major capital investments in 2013 include developments in Australia, Nigeria, the United States deep-water Gulf of Mexico, Kazakhstan , Angola and the Republic of Congo .

 

The share price of the company is still nose-diving since 2008 as the company is yet to find its path to recovery after the market crash.

The stock fell by -56.36% in 2009, following the -0.06% loss experienced in 2008. The company experienced low-key patronage to record -4.63% and -11.36% losses in 2010 and 2011 respectively. The stock maintained downtrend, putting YTD performance at -57.61% loss.
