Universal Insurance Plc Announces Delay in Filing 2017 Audited Statements

Universal Insurance Plc (The Company) wishes to inform its esteemed Shareholders, Stakeholders and the general Public that the Company is yet to file the Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the year ended, 31St December, 2017 with The Nigerian Stock Exchange (The Exchange) in line with its post-listing obligation. 

However, the Company has since completed the auditing of the accounts and submitted same with our primary regulator - the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) for approval. The AFS will be filed with The Exchange upon receipt of approval from NAICOM.
