UNIC, CORNERST Closed Below Previous Floor Price as Tally Increases to Nine

Fresh stocks joined the league of stocks that have closed below the previous floor price of 50k since the new par value and pricing methodology rules takes effect on Monday. 

At the end of today’s trading activities, two (2) stocks joined the previous seven (7) recorded as at yesterday to increase the number of stocks that closed below the previous floor prices of 50k to nine (9).  

The new two affected stocks are: UNIC and CORNERST while the previous seven (7) are: MULTIVERSE,  FTNCOCOA, AFRINSURE, ABCTRANS, LASACO, PRESTIGE and ROYALEX.

A breakdown of the volume traded by each of the six (6) stocks against the market volume traded at the end of today’s trading activities reflected that ABCTRANS traded the highest volume representing 0.31% while UNIC and CORNERST traded the least with 0.02% representation each.

A further breakdown of the volume traded by each of the six (6) stocks against their share outstanding reflected that ABCTRANS, recorded the highest percentage of 0.12% while UNIC and CORNERST recorded the least.
