UBA Announces notice of the Company’s Board Meeting and Closed Period

The Board of Directors of United Bank for Africa Plc is scheduled to meet in Lagos by 10:00AM on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 to consider, amongst other matters, the Unaudited 2019 First Quarter Financial Statements for the period ended March 31, 2019.

In compliance with the NSE Rule Book and the Amendments to the Listing Rules, UBA hereby declares the commencement of the closed period for trading in the Bank’s shares from Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in respect of the Unaudited 2019 First Quarter Financial Statements for the period ended March 31, 2019.

Accordingly, no Director, person discharging managerial responsibility, employees with sensitive information, advisers and consultants of the Bank and their connected persons may directly or indirectly deal in the securities (Shares and Bonds) of the Bank until 24 hours after the release of the Unaudited 2019 First Quarter Financial Statements of the Group for the period ended March 31, 2019 to the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
