New Par Value Rule: Fourteen Stocks Closed Below Previous Floor Price One Week After

All through the trading days of the week, more stocks continue to join the list of stocks that have closed below the previous floor price of 50k since the new par value and pricing methodology rules takes effect on Monday 29th January 2018.

At the end of today’s trading activities, two (2) stocks joined the previous twelve (12) recorded as at yesterday to increase the number of stocks that closed below the previous floor prices of 50k to fourteen (14).

The new two (2) affected stocks are:
HMARKINS and JAPAULOIL while the previous twelve (12) are: MBENEFIT, SOVRENINS UNITYKAP, UNIC, CORNERST,
MULTIVERSE,  FTNCOCOA, AFRINSURE, ABCTRANS, LASACO, PRESTIGE and ROYALEX.

A breakdown of the volume traded by each of the fourteen (14) stocks against the market volume traded at the end of this week trading activities reflected that 
LASACO traded the highest volume representing 0.83% while UNIC and MULTIVERSE traded the least with 0.004% and 0.005% representation respectively.
