Lafarge Africa Plc Issues Explanatory Note on Q3 2018 Results Modifications

Lafarge Africa Plc wishes to notify The Nigerian Stock Exchange, shareholders and all the Company’s stakeholders of the following modifications to the unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ended September 30, 2018: 

- Costs of N143,200,807 incurred in the period Q1 2018 in connection with the 2017 Lafarge Africa Rights which was concluded in March 2018, have been reclassified from Trade & Other Receivables to Equity (Rights Issue costs) and the Net Proceeds from the Rights Issue on the Cash Flow Statement reduced by N143,200,807 to N36,861,919,764 from N 37,005,120,572 

- Costs of N487,926,000 incurred in Q2 2018 with respect to the proposed 2018 Lafarge Africa Rights Issue have been reclassified from Equity (Rights Issue costs) to Trade & Other Receivables.
