FIRSTALUM Announces Delay in Filing of the Company’s Q4 2018 Audited Financial Statements

First Aluminium Nigeria Plc (“First Aluminium” or “the Company”) wishes to inform its   shareholders and investing public that the Company's Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2018 (the “Accounts”) which was due for submission to The Nigerian Stock Exchange (The Exchange) on 31 March 2019, is yet to be filed as the audit process of the Accounts has not been completed.

Consequently, the Company has obtained The Exchange’s approval to file the Accounts after the due date but not later than 30 April 2019. We are Optimistic that the audit of the Accounts will be finalized and the Accounts will be filed with The Exchange on or before the extended date of 30 April 2019.

The Company apologizes for this delay and reassures its shareholders that the Accounts will be filed as soon as the audit process is completed.
