CWG Plc. (the Company) wishes to notify The Nigerian Stock Exchange (The Exchange), its shareholders, and the investing public that the Company applied for and was granted extension to file its 2018 Audited Financial Statement after the submission deadline of 31st  March 2019.

The reason for our application for extension is to enable the Company finalize the external audit of the financial statements of its subsidiary companies in Cameroon and Uganda, as we had been advised by our external auditors that this is unlikely to be completed before the submission deadline of 31st March, 2019. Given our Group Structure, we are required to submit consolidated accounts and without the audited accounts from our subsidiaries, we are unable to finalize our accounts before the submission due date.

However, concerted efforts are being made to finalize the audit and we expect to file the audited financial statements for the Financial Year ended 31st December 2018 by 30th April 2019.
