Ellah Lakes Plc. (the Company) announces the resignation of General (Rtd) Zamani Lekwot as the Chairman of its Board of Directors (the Board), with effect from 22 October 2019.
The Board and Management of the Company are grateful to General (Rtd.) Lekwot for his leadership and meritorious service to the Company, and wish him the best in his future endeavours.
The Board at its meeting which held on Tuesday, 22 October 2019 appointed Mr. Olumide Akpata as its new Chairman. Mr. Akpata is a partner at Templars (a leading Nigerian Law Firm). He has over two decadesâ€™ experience in Corporate and Commercial Law and has been recognised by IFLR 1000, as a leading Mergers & Acquisition lawyer in Nigeria and by Chambers and Partners as having experience in advising clients on various aspects of Nigerian Corporate Law as well as long experience in representing foreign clients in his area of practice.
