Startup Pitch Challenge Announced as Part of FinTech Nigeria Forum

FinTech Associates, a Nigerian FinTech solution provider and the Digital Finance Institute, a digital finance think tank based in Canada are pleased to announce a Startup Pitch Challenge for startups and students all across Nigeria as part of their FinTech Nigeria Conference being held on April 24, 2017, in Lagos.  

The Startup Pitch Challenge invites startups entrepreneurs that are involved in financial technology to apply to present their technology solutions for a chance to pitch their solutions before a panel of expert judges at the FinTech Nigeria Forum event.  

“This initiative is planned to tap on the creativity of the Nigerian youths and we look forward to product pitches that has the potential to change the financial services landscape”, said Detan Akinhanmi, Knowledge Events Executive of Fintech Associates. 

“The Startup Pitch Challenge allows startups to have some stage time to showcase their innovative technology and receive valuable feedback to refine their solutions and scale, as well as to join in growing the ecosystem in Nigeria,” said Christine Duhaime, the Executive Director and Founder of the Digital Finance Institute. “Bringing the community together to support the new startups in the space is critical for Nigeria’s innovation agenda.” 

The FinTech Nigeria Forum will cover a range of topics from FinTech, Bank Innovation, InsureTech, Blockchain, Payments, RegTech, Financial Inclusion, Artificial Intelligence and deep learning. It caters to FinTechs, venture capitalists, private equity funds, government agencies, lawyers, regulators, innovators, professional associations, researchers, and financial institutions.
