Eligibility Criteria/Checklist for Selection of Entrepreneurship Development Centres under the AGSMEIS

  1.  

a) Must be duly registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) or

b) Be a Public-Sector Institution.

 

  1.  

Must have been in existence for a minimum of three (3) years with evidence of past trainees.

 

  1.  

Must have qualified faculty in the functional areas listed on the attached.

 

  1.  

Must have at least 5 workshops and 5 classrooms well equipped for training.

 

  1.  

Must provide training modules with a robust curriculum which should include vocational, skill acquisition and entrepreneurship training.

 

  1.  

Must demonstrate with proof, track record of mentoring and training Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

 

  1.  

Must have at least 2 years audited financial records.

 

  1.  

Provide tax Identification number and Bank Verification Number (BVN) of the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) and its promoters.

 

  1.  

Provide evidence of tax payments

 

  1.  

Provide a minimum of 3 months training for start-up businesses in the identified functional areas on the attached list, however, existing businesses could be less.

 

N/B: This checklist is subject to review by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from time to time.
