The RICS Nigeria Group announces its 2021 Conference and AGM

The RICS Nigeria Group will be holding its 2021 Conference and AGM themed "Sustainability in Construction and Real Estate" which will bring experts together to discuss the impact of the global sustainability march on Nigeria's built environment.


According to the UN Environment Program, the built industry as a collective is responsible for 38% of global carbon emissions. Key stakeholders have begun engaging the built industry as leading executives are now more attuned to the challenges of sustainability. Climate risk is increasingly being seen as a financial risk, and the COVID-19 pandemic has added a sense of urgency to finding a lasting solution.


Also, occupiers are demanding safer and more sustainable spaces in which they live and work. To discuss the above, the following speakers have been confirmed:
