The quest to improve Investors Relation and further strengthen investors (domestic and foreign) confidence in the Nigerian Capital Market (NCM) is one that has been at the forefront of recent activities in the NCM.

As part of its contribution and service delivery to the Nigerian investing community, WebTV an online television group announces the launch of its first investors relation program ‘The Nigerian Investor’.

Calved from the Share Support Service of Proshare Nigeria- a leading financial information hub and market intelligence firm in the country, ‘The Nigerian Investor’ Program would empower, educate, guide and inform investors on the operations, key trends, developments, innovations in the Nigerian Capital Market, as well as major capital market news regarding activities of quoted companies on the exchange and how they influenced the breadth and spread of the market, and views of analysts, leaders of shareholder groups and other stakeholders.

It would also serve as a unique platform for investors to engage market operators as well as regulators, while proffering a solution oriented approach to shareholders’ investment concerns, complaints and issues.

Specifically viewers should watch out for reviews of corporate action, market sentiments, products and services, people and changes in board/ governance in the market, investor protection issues, regulatory announcements, new offer: private placement, public offer, initial public offer, merger and acquisition, listings and de-listings and upcoming AGM/EGMs, and investors complaint resolution facts.

The weekly program which would be anchored by Mr. Saheed Kiaribe a Certified Registrar and Share Support Service Consultant of Proshare, will feature every Thursday, with the first edition to be aired on March 13, 2014.
