United Capital one of Africa’s leading Investment banking groups hosted its outgoing Group Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Toyin Sanni to a fond farewell to celebrate her (4) four years of dedicated service and leadership of the bank.
It was also an opportunity to formally receive Mr Peter Ashade former MD/CEO of Africa Prudential Plc, as the incoming GCEO.
The event brought together notable players in the Nigerian financial market space across the nation.
Giving their remarks at the event the GMD of UBA Bank, Mr Kennedy Uzoka, Ag DG, SEC Nigeria Mary Uduk, MD/CEO Transcorp Mr Valentine Ozigbo and Chief (Mrs) Eniola Fadayomi lauded Mrs Toyin Sanni for her dynamic leadership.
They were confident that Mr Ashade based on his track record with Africa Prudential Plc, will lead United Capital to greater heights.
Mrs Toyin Sanni an award winning GCEO, strategic thinker, women in finance advocate and financial literacy champion thanked the staff, shareholders and market stakeholders for all the support she got during her tenure.
Sanni challenged her successor to leverage on the legacies left at the investment bank, to expand its frontiers.
Mr Peter Ashade assured stakeholders that under his leadership, United Capital will drive a robust and highly innovative financial services strategy and push an aggressive Pan-African approach.
