The Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) has appointed Chike Ogeah Esq as its Vice Chairman.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Board of Directors held in Lagos recently, due to his pedigree, experience, passion for the company and contributions to the growth of SAHCOL.
Ogeah, who was the last Managing Director /CEO before the privatisation of SAHCOL in December 2009, is to assist in formulating polices that could have far-reaching implications on the successful management of the company.
The new Vice Chairman has a background in Social Sciences and Law, with extensive experience in open economy and development/institutional economics. A Barrister and Solicitor byprofession, and partner in his own firm since 1993.
Ogeah graduated from the University of Lagos, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Hons) and Bachelor of Law .LLB (Hons) in 1983 and 1988, respectively. Barrister at Law, BL and called to Bar in 1990 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Chike, who is currently serving as the Director, Media and Public Affairs, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Delta State, andDirector, Paelon Medical Services , Victoria island, Lagos was prior to his becoming the Managing Director/ CEO of SAHCOL in December,2006 a facilitating consultant in the office of the Millennium Development Goal in the Presidency between January 2004 and August 2005, Chike Ogeah served as the National Coordinator, State Economic Empowerment and Development Strategy (SEEDS), National Planning Commission, and Special Assistant to theEconomic Adviser to the President and Coordinator International Cooperation Department, respectively.
Ogeah worked as Personal Assistant to the Chief Economic Adviser to the President (CEA), Vice Chairman/Chief Executive National Planning Commission andChief Debt Negotiator.
He also functioned as a legal practitioner, where he specializing in Government Relations, Corporate law and other aspects of Legal Practice.
Ogeah was the Managing Director, who midwifes SAHCOL to a successful privatization before handover to Sifax Group in December 2009.
