The National Association of Oduduwa Students [NAOS] on October 10, 2017, inducted Mr. Olufemi Awoyemi, MD/CEO, Proshare Nigeria Limited into the NAOS Hall of Fame as an outstanding leader of International Repute and an “Icon of Integrity”. They also named Proshare Nigeria Limited as the Most Outstanding Company in Nigeria 2017, in due recognition of its Unparallel Professionalism, Political Neutrality, Staff Welfare and Training, Information Technology Revolution, Quality and Effective Service Delivery, Research, Job Creation, Youth Empowerment and its Unrelenting Efforts in Transforming the Nation’s IT, Media and Financial sector.
The Managing Director, Mr. Olufemi Awoyemi received the award and thanked the Association for their generosity and recognition of Proshare Nigeria Limited. He also appreciated their display of the Yoruba culture especially in their appearance and presentation in words and songs. He further dedicated the award to the Proshare team who have remained dedicated and resilient in their service to the organisation. As a reward of gratitude, he offered ten free subscription packages on the Analyst platform to representatives of the association.
In his opening speech, Comrade Adekunle Micheal Adeniyi, the President of the Association said that the prestigious award was presented to Mr. Olufemi Awoyemi and the company for its immense contribution to the well-being of the masses and the development of the Nation’s financial sector.
According to him, the National Association of Oduduwa Students [NAOS] is the umbrella body for all the Yoruba Students both in Nigeria and the Diaspora, which started in the year 1980 at the University of Ibadan with the core objectives of promoting the prestigious Yoruba cultural heritage, moral value, seeing to the welfare of all members in all institutions of learning and represent their opinions on issues of campus, states and national importance. It is also in the noble objectives of the great union to sensitize her members on traditional and democratic best practices such as, making democracy a culture for respective campuses.
