The Board of Directors of Portland Paints & Products Nigeria Plc (the Company) wishes to inform the Nigerian Stock Exchange (The Exchange) and the general investing public of the appointment of Mrs. Esosa Vanessa Balogun was appointed as a Non-Executive Director on the Board with effect from 25th April 2019.

 

Profile Of Mrs Esosa Vanessa Balogun

Mrs Balogun is a certified professional with extensive experience in the areas of Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Internal Control, Compliance and Corporate Governance. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Benin and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and possesses the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and Certificate in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA) from the ITA, global.

Prior to joining UAC of Nigeria Plc CUACN’), she was in the Risk Consulting arm of KPMG Professional Services and rose to the Senior Manager level. Her experience cuts across manufacturing, oil and gas, telecommunications and financial services industries.

Mrs Balogun joined UACN in 2016 as the Head, Risk and Compliance for the Group. She is responsible for driving risk management, control and compliance activities in UACN and all its subsidiary companies.
