Lafarge Africa Plc. (“LAP") hereby formally notifies the Exchange of the appointment of Mrs. Adewunmi Alode as Company Secretary with effect from Tuesday, 12th December 2017. 

Adewunmi holds a degree in Law from the Lagos State University. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2005. She also holds the professional certification of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) of Nigeria and will be awarded with Grad ICSA from ICSA UK early next year. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
 

Prior to her appointment, she has held several positions within the legal department of the Company including Company Secretary for the wholly- owned subsidiary, Lafarge Ready Mix Nigeria Limited, Group Compliance Officer and the Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts. She has over nine years working experience as an in-house legal counsel and three years active legal practice
