LEARNAFRCA Appoints Two New Non-Executive Directors

The public is hereby notified that the Shareholders at the 47th Annual General Meeting of Learn Africa Plc (the Company) held on Thursday, 15th October 2020 ratified the appointment of Mrs. Egbichi Akinsanya as an Independent Non- Executive Director and Mr. lyinoluwa Aboyeji as a Non- Executive Director respectively.

Mrs. Egbichi Akinsanya holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Public Administration from Bedford College, now Holloway College, University of London, the professional qualifications of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators UK (ICSA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) as a fellow and also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Egbichi's work experience spans both the public and private sectors: having worked with the Securities and Exchange Commission Nigeria (SEC) for over 11 years, Citibank Nigeria for 4 years, British American Tobacco for 5 years and Private Venture Capital initiative (FBC Beverages Company Limited) for 6 years. She was appointed a Non-Executive Director of Sterling Bank in March 2015. She currently runs a private business in real estate with a focus on building and remodeling homes.

Egbichi is passionate about work and has high standards. She is experienced in driving key process improvements and leading cross- group projects.

In the same vein, Mr. lyinoluwa Aboyeji was also appointed as a Non- Executive Director on August 6th, 2020. lyinoluwa is the General Partner and Co-founder of Future Africa, a platform that provides capital, coaching and community for mission-driven innovators building an African Future where purpose and prosperity is within everyone's reach.

Prior to co-founding Future Africa, he also helped to build Andela and Flutterwave, two of Africa's largest and fastest-growing technology companies backed by global investors.

Iyinoluwa holds a bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo and is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. He also sits on the board of a number of corporate and non-profit organizations and advises a number of national and sub-national governments across Africa on how to support high growth innovation-driven enterprises in their domains.
