We wish to inform our shareholders, The Nigerian Stock Exchange and the investing public that the Board of Japaul Oil and Maritime Services Plc has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Akinloye Daniel Oladapo as Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, and approved the appointment of Hon. Abdulkadir Mammon Nasir as an Independent Non-Executive Director, Mr. Kingsley Uyokpeyi as Acting Executive Director, Operations and Mrs. Funmilola Omodamori as Acting Executive Director, Finance & Planning. 

Mr. Akinloye Daniel Oladapo Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer 

Mr. Akinloye Daniel Oladapo is the substantive Group Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Japaul Oil 85 Maritime Services Plc. Prior to his assumption of this role, he was the Acting Group Managing Director. 

He holds a Higher National Diploma (HN D) in Urban 85 Regional Planning from the Polytechnic, Ibadan, and Postgraduate Diploma and M.Sc Degree in Transport from Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye (now Olabisi Onabanjo University). 

He worked for several years with Dapkol Engineering Limited, where he rose to the position of Project Manager, before he resigned his appointment in 1997. While with Dapkol Engineering Limited, he contributed immensely to the successful completion of various projects undertaken by the company, including the EEC sponsored projects under Lome II Convention. 

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Japaul Oil 85 Maritime Services Plc since 2008 where he rose to the position of the Deputy Group Managing Director of the Company, and Acting Group Managing Director before the instant confirmation. 

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Transport, London, and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Shipping.

He is happily married and blessed with four children. 

Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, Independent Non-Executive Director 

Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, was born on the 6th of January, 1965 in Malumfashi, Katsina State. He is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University. He holds a PGDM from Bayero University, Kano. Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Japaul Oil 81, Maritime Services Plc. 

He was a Member of the Board of Directors, Katsina State Transport Authority and Member, Board of Directors, Newsprint Manufacturing Company, Akwa Ibom State between 2000 and 2003. 

As an outstanding Politician, he was elected Chairman, Malumfashi Local Government in 2004, appointed Chairman, Local Caretaker Committee, Malumfashi Local Government in 2004, elected Member, House of Representatives in 2011, and in 2015, he became the Chairman, All Progressives Congress, Katsina State, a position he occupies till date. 

He has to his credit, several awards and certificates in recognition of his dedication and meritorious services. He is an Associate Member, Institute of Treasury Management and Financial Accountants.

He is married and blessed with children. 

Engr. Kingsley Uyokpeyi, Acting Executive Director, Operations 

Engr. Kingsley Uyokpeyi joined Japaul in 2014 as a Project Manager and grew through the ranks to occupy the present position of Acting Executive Director, Operations. He has about twenty (20) years of experience in handling various projects in different aspects of the Civil Engineering profession. His wealth of experience spans across management of various dredging and marine projects, road and high way engineering, pollution control and environmental works. 

He possesses a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering, Masters in Business Administration and Masters of Science in Management. He is a corporate member of Nigerian Society of Engineers and also COREN registered. 

Mrs. Funmilola Omodamori, Acting Executive Director, Finance & Planning 

Funmilola Omodamori is the Acting Executive Director, Finance 81, Planning. She assumes this role due to her positive contribution to the financial growth of the organization. Prior to her assumption of this role, she was the Acting Chief Financial Officer. 

Prior to joining Japaul Group in December 2012, she worked in manufacturing and audit industries with roles ranging from Accounting to Auditing as a professional with good experience in the said areas. Her educational background is Accounting & Finance.
