Today, FCMB issued a press release stating that Mrs. Yemisi Edun is acting as the Managing Director of the bank in the interim period while Mr Adam Nuru is on leave.

 

The bank stated that this is in line with normal corporate practices.

 

The statement reads further that she has not been appointed as the substantive Managing Director.

In a similar vein, FCMB Group, the parent company of the bank today issued a statement on NSE notifying the market of the development while the statement is quite similar to the earlier statement issued by its subsidiary.
