of executive Management as well as discharge other administrative and personnel
functions. However, with the ever-dynamic business environment and the adoption
of forward-thinking practices, the Human Resource professional is now a
strategic partner, a change champion, and an employee advocate. It is therefore
pertinent for HR professionals to understand and embrace novel functions such
as strategic utilization of staff, talent management and development, strategic
compensation and hiring as well as complaints and problem solving.
