COURTEVILLE Appoints Mr. Afam Edozie as Chairman of its Board

We write to formally notify The Exchange that the Board of Directors of Courteville Business Solutions Plc (the “Company”), has unanimously appointed Mr. Afam Edozie as the substantive Chairman of the Board of Directors in replacement of the Grp. Capt. M.O. Salami (Retd) who retired from the Board with effect from June 29, 2018, following the approval of his retirement at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on June 28, 2018.

Mr. Afam Edozie was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company on June 2, 2008.

Mr. Edozie holds a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from University of Lagos and a Post Graduate Diploma in Economics from the University of London.

Mr. Edozie is an Entrepreneurial C-Suite leader who has developed his career from Brand Assistant/Manager at Procter & Gamble, to SMT/C-Suite level for Virgin Media, MTN Communications and FiCres Capital.

Mr. Edozie is currently the Managing Director of Grow Africa Equity Partners with an unrivalled track record of exponential business growth for start-ups and turnaround of struggling operations, spanning almost 30 years within Telecoms, FMCG and Fin-Tech.

He is a non-executive director in Swift Networks Limited and is trusted for his ability to develop highly successful business strategies, operating models, new sales channels, value propositions and integrated marketing/advertising strategies and campaigns that have achieved industry-leading brand awareness, customer acquisition and revenue growth.

In view of the above appointment, Mr. Edozie would no longer be a member of the board committees; being the Audit Committee and the Corporate Governance and Remuneration Committee.

His leadership of the Company’s Board will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the Board and the Company as a whole
