UACN Property Development Company Plc ("the Company") wishes to announce
then resignation of Mrs Adeniun Taiwo from the Board of directors ("the Board")
of the Company with effect from January 10, 2020. Mrs. Taiwo had served the
Company in various capacities and most recently, the Executive Director, Head,
Facilities Management. The Board in accepting the resignation appreciated her
contributions to the Company over the years and wished her all the best in her
future endeavor.
The Company is pleased to announce
the appointment of two new Directors to its Board. They are Mrs. Deborah
Nicol-Omeruah and Mr. Oyekunle Osilaja.
Brief Profile of Mrs. Deborah
Nicol-Omeruah
Mrs. Deborah Nicol-Omeruah, who has
been appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of the Company with effect from
3rd December 2019, has over 15 years' experience in real estate and
banking with specialization in Property Development, Finance &
Acquisitions; Mortgages; Private Banking and Investment Planning in the United
Kingdom and across Africa. Her prior leadership roles include Account Director
for Broll Property Group; Chief Operating Officer for Landmark Africa and Head,
Property Finance and Acquisitions for Stanbic IBTC Bank.
Mrs. Nicol-Omeruah is a Real Estate
Professional and a Certified Mortgage and Financial Adviser (CeFA, CeMAP) by
the Institute of Financial Services in the United Kingdom. She is a recognized
industry expert in the Nigerian mortgage and real estate development market.
She holds a BArch Architecture from the University of Nottingham.
Brief Profile of Mr. Oyekunle Osilaja
Mr Oyekunle Osilaja, who has been
appointed as a Non-Executive Director with effect from January 13, 2020, has a
wealth of experience in the real estate sector. In his immediate past role, he
was the Group Head of Real Estate for Ecobank Transnational Inc. (ETI) and
Head, Ecobank Capital, Nigeria. Before joining ETI in 2012, he spent most of
his professional career in Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance in London as
Executive Director covering advisory, debt and structured finance. Mr Osilaja
has amassed a considerable track record of closing big ticket corporate real
estate advisory debt transactions, including, inter alia, arranging a capex
facility for Four Season Hotel in Milan; acquisition finance for The Adelphi
building in London West End and; the quasi securitization development facility
for Civil Justice Centre in Spinningfields, Manchester. He holds a BSc (Hons)
from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and has attended various management
courses in INSEAD and Warwick University, United Kingdom.
