The erstwhile Managing Director of Prestige Assurance Plc, Mr.Sarberswar Sahoo has been appointed to take over the stewardship of the Company while Mr Vadlamudi Raja has been appointed Executive ADirector.

Mr. Sahoo

Mr. Sahoo holds Master's Degree in Commerce, Masters in Business Administration (Finance & Marketing) and a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India (FID. He joined the services of The New India Assurance Company Limited in 1988 and he had worked is various location across India in different capacities in various departments ranging from Accounts, Claims, Personnel and various aspects of Branch, Division and Region Operations.

Prior to his deputation, he was the Regional Manager in charge of Bhubaneswar Reena operations. He has 27 years' experience in General Insurance industry wad has undergone various professional trainings and workshops which cut across different aspects 0f Insurance. He is a visiting faculty to Management Institutions and Insurance training Institute.

He was posted to Prestige Assurance Plc as General Manager Risk Control in November 2015 to oversee Operations, Marketing, Underwriting and Claims.

Mr. Vadlamudi Raja

Mr. Vadlamudi Raja joined in the New India Assurance Company Limited in 1987. He holds a Master Degree in History from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. He is also a Fellow from Insurance Institute of India, Mumabi. He has 28 years of experience in Insurance Industry as Branch Manager & Divisional manager, handled Marketing, Claims management, Accounts, Underwriting. He has conducted various training programs for Marketers and headed a Specialized Agents Branch in Visakhapatnam as a Branch manager.

He got a worthy exposure in servicing to Large Corporates and brokers. He has been undergone various training programs particularly in Fire, Business Interruption, Engineering, Marine Cargo & Hull, Motor, Health and General Accidents etc, in Hyderabad, Mumbai & NIA, Pune. He has been with Prestige Assurance from March 2016 onwards.
