DANGCEM Appoints Mr Arvind Pathak As Deputy Group Managing Director

This is to inform the investing public, that at a meeting of the Board of Directors of Dangote Cement Plc. held on October 29, 2019, Mr. Arvind Pathak was appointed to the Board of Dangote Cement Plc. ("DCP"), as the Deputy Group Managing Director. 

Mr. Pathak, who until his latest appointment, was the Chief Operating Officer of DCP has more than 30 years' experience in the cement industry. Prior to joining DCP, Mr. Pathak worked at Reliance Cement as CEO. He was previously the Regional CEO in ACC Limited, having worked most of his tenure in operations and maintenance of plants, as well as leading important greenfield projects.

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. He has also been trained in a number of international management colleges.
