US, Iran Hostilities: Chevron Pulls Out Staff From Iraq As Crude Oil Price Drops

American Oil Giant Chevron announced that it is withdrawing its staff from Iraq to guarantee their safety amid the hostilities between the United States of America and Iran, since the killing of the Commander of the Revolutionary Guards Overseas Operations Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

 

The International Crude Oil price dropped today as American allies Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom plan to meet on the development.

 

US Defence officials plan to brief Congress on Wednesday, January 08, 2020, on the developments that led to the airstrike in Baghdad, Iraq last week.
